A Note from the Editor

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the first edition of The Judson Mosaic! We’re ecstatic that you’re here.

Mosaic is a place where students can showcase the gifts that God has given them to bless others and glorify Him, and in this first issue, we have compiled a collection of short stories, poems, photographs, and feature stories by students from Judson.

While I was reading through the pieces that make up this first edition of Mosaic, I recognized a common theme. Many of them highlight the beauty of life, no matter the circumstances.

Indeed, life is one of God’s greatest gifts, and from the very beginning to the very end of your story, He has a purpose for you. Job 12:10 says, “In [God’s] hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” Every day, every hour, every second, your every heartbeat is sustained by God Almighty, and He loves you so much that He came to earth to die for you and live again for you, so that you could know Him. Isn’t that beautiful? Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.”

That’s what we’re doing through Mosaic. We’re praising God through sharing the gifts that He has created us with. May you be blessed as you read these pieces by the talented Judson community, and may you come away knowing how precious you are to God.

Happy reading!
